Conference Management Service (CMS)
The main function of the Conference Management Service (CMS) is to provide Member States and intergovernmental bodies with all the services that meetings require for their smooth functioning. The services provided include: - Planning and organising meetings in Vienna and throughout the world in cooperation with substantive offices of the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV), the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) and the Preparatory Commission for the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organisation (CTBTO).
- Providing simultaneous interpretation during intergovernmental meetings of these organisations as well as meetings of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in the six official languages of the United Nations Secretariat*
- Organising meeting room facilities in the Vienna International Centre and other locations.
- Editing, translating, formatting, designing, printing and distributing official documents and publications in the six official languages of the United Nations Secretariat*.
